I remember that i tried to apply for ISPWP membership somewhere near end last year but in vain. I tried to apply again early this year and failed once more. Upon my third try, they finally approved my application.

Here you go…

The Best Wedding Photographers in the World

The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) is a rarity among wedding photography organizations. Photographers cannot simply buy an ISPWP membership, they have to earn it.

Our requirements are experience, talent, and professionalism. To be accepted, a photographer must have shot at least 50 weddings, submit their portfolio for review, agree to operate under the ISPWP Code of Conduct, and have an ISPWP Sponsor or four references. And THEN they have to be voted in by current members.

In short, when you hire an ISPWP Photographer, you are hiring a talented veteran with a track record, peer recognition, and a passion for creating heirloom images of your wedding.”

How to be different?

Every wedding couple hopes their actual day wedding to be special. That is why they take a significant period of time in planning their big day; be it wedding banquet, gowns, photographers, videographers, wedding favors, groomsman, bridesmaids, trying to make it as unique and personal as possible.

As far as possible, we as wedding photographers will try not to interfere in the flow of the wedding day and probably giving the same set of instructions (yes i know that’s boring but imagine that we’ve probably shot hundreds of weddings in our life) for all my weddings if there is a need to. I always believe that every bridal party to be unique and reacts to my instructions differently. They are probably the one adding spice to the couple’s wedding day. Most importantly, they are people who play an important part in the couple’s life (thats why they are your bridal party). Some could be really fun and creative batch of people and true enough the images turn out to be interesting to look at, some react minimally while the others not react at all.

The end results will be you either get sets of “wow your bridal party are so fun” images or “well your photographer sucks” images.

Did a product shoot for a local shoe maker/designer. A break from the usual wedding assignment.

Shoes as always my favorite.
