Dalston & Eileen’s Solemnisation

leave a comment »

It is never easy organising home party which could accommodate all the guests we wish to invite. Not forgetting the food preparation, decorations, chairs and tables and also tidying up of the place after all guests have left. Many of us will rather go for an event planner or location rental which comes with food and decoration.

What seemed to me like a normal home party during the first meetup has transformed into one with a great amount of details within such a short time. I am surprised with the amount of effort put in to make this special day of yours unique.

Thank you for making my Christmas eve unforgettable.

Back from the 650m long island

leave a comment »

Heyo, we have gone missing for quite a while. Dixie (now my wife :)) and I had gone for our honeymoon in Veligandu, a beautiful 650m long resort in Maldives.

An awesome island for anyone who likes the sun, beach and sea.

A wide range of villas available for selection; water or beach gives the option of waking up facing the open sea or sunrise on the beach. Sleep with your snorkelling gears and you can jump into the sea the moment you open your eyes.

For anyone who is keen to visit Maldives resort, please please opt for the All Inclusive Package (AIP). You can just forget about the word “cash”. Just drop by any of the restaurants and 24 hours bar for a free drink (cocktail, juices or alcohol), just like home. Best thing is its “24 hours” service.

The international buffet provided by Veligandu Restaurant is awesome as well. With a different selection of soup every meal.

Price is affordable and for anyone who is keen to visit Maldives, this is one resort which you can probably consider. 🙂

We took a seaplane from Male International Airport to Veligandu, the holding area for seaplane flight is comfortable, unfortunately, the seaplane flight itself isn’t. 23433503773_837bbd1834_zIMG_6574-2IMG_6570IMG_6572

Greeted by the the staff with personalised “guide” from entrance to your villa doorstep.

Nope, i do not have picture of their rooms, i am there as a tourist, you may check out their website for their villas and suites.

But this is what we see every day

23751335500_fdc20dc80a_z24020920606_006be8ca41_z23764771470_803628c9ac_z23938859132_f0318c76e5_z

And what we do everyday is, swim, snorkel, sun tan, eat, sleep and shit a lot (to much food to eat everyday, we are on AIP)…

The sea is so clear that occasionally sharks, manta ray and dolphins drop by to say hello.

Otherwise, we will just roam around the island taking pictures of ermm, ourselves. But considering the island is only that big we always end up in the same place.

Dinner ends pretty late, and by the time we are done, its pretty late and we have to walk some distance back with the help of little lights + moonlight which i find night time to be a little eerie.

The sea comes to live and there are lots of activity down there, if you decide to spend some time searching.

Otherwise, the big bird might drop us a visit + poo, if you are lucky enough.3333.jpg23764937740_3de170a2b6_z24020916806_4391ef16e3_z

Little bit and pieces toward new stage of my life – Interior photography – My turn to ponder… (Part 1-living room)

leave a comment »

I have been doing interior photography for quite a while and when the date drawn nearer for me to collect my flat (Actually there is a couple of months before it is completed…i am just kiasu), i am completely clueless in how i wanted my living room to be.

So in order to kickstart**, let me recap on the few living room design that i had took and had drawn my attention previously.

**Not in any order or preference

Not a fan of industrial design however for this particular house. The industrial and rustic feel of the living room is not overly done. The black board adds further “depth to the boring rectangular Singapore HDB living room. (**good idea…maybe i should consider that too.)

I like the simplicity of this living room for some reasons. (**which i can’t tell at this moment.)

I always like how Ascenders designs their living room. For those that i have been to, they always have this little corner for wearing of shoes within the living room. This partly segregated corner also add a little bit of privacy for home owners. (*thats my thoughts)

A very resort feel. I like the design of the shelves very much. This living room resembles more of a resort i must say. (*one that calm and relax the mind…..)

(*not my preference but definitely pretty unique.)

Like how the additional corner are being designed for this living room.

Back to the question on how i wanted my living room to be:

  1. it must look spacious while retaining some privacy….
  2. It must have some elements of surprise but still not too much
  3. It must look clean and easy to look at
  4. There must be sufficient compartment to store my books (although i don’t read much)
  5. It must be unique and but not too unique
  6. And this list will continue….
